The Kluyver Centre for Genomics of Industrial Fermentation employs microbial genomics to improve micro-organisms for use in industrial fermentation processes. Starting from renewable feed stocks, fermentation is usedfor the production of food products and ingredients, beverages, pharmaceutical compounds, nutraceuticals, and fine and bulk chemicals.
